The Rehabilitation Code
The Rehabilitation Code exists to promote the use of rehabilitation when settling personal injury insurance claims. It was originally issued in 1999 and provides a framework in which insurers and claimant lawyers can collaborate to consider the health needs of injured people.
Accompanying the code are a Case Manager's Guide and an addendum which seeks to improve the delivery of rehabilitation in Official Injury Claims (OIC) Portal claims.
