US EO 13712 Blocking property and interests in property for those persons contributing to the situation in Burundi. Regulations implementing EO 13712 published 14 Apr 2016, with more extensive regulations planned by OFAC. EO 13712 was extended until 23 Nov 2019. SDN list updated periodically. All restrictive measures under EO 13712 were extended for a further year until 23 November 2021. 
EU (CFSP) 2015/1763 introduced travel ban and asset freeze on designated individuals. It is prohibited to satisfy claims made by the persons listed in Council Regulation (EU) 2015/1755 in connection with any contract or transaction the performance of which has been affected by the measures imposed by the same regulation. All restrictive measures extended until 31 Dec 2021 under (CFSP) 2020/1585.

 The Burundi (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 incorporates EU sanctions into UK law wef: 31 Dec 2020. Travel ban and asset freezes apply.
