The IUA’s Claims Strategy Committee (CSC) was established in December 2020 and operates as the lead IUA committee for strategic and technical claims matters. The Committee is responsible for oversight of and guidance to IUA’s membership for all claims related matters. This will include identifying and considering cross-class issues relevant to (re)insurance claims, including monitoring the impact of individual catastrophe (CAT) and similarly significant events. The group is also responsible for ensuring appropriate education on key claims topics and liaising with other professional bodies and market associations.
